Moda Sampler Block Shuffle will begin on Monday November 2, 2015 through January 4, 2016.

Every week on Monday for the next 10 weeks I will post pictures and patterns for 3 six inch blocks provided by Moda.  The post will be ready to view by noon every Monday with the first post on November 2nd.

There are several ways to participate in the block shuffle:

  1. Log on to my blog every Monday after 12 to see pictures and get instructions to make 3 six inch blocks.
  2. Participate in shop. I will provide a kit with the instructions and fabric to make the 3 blocks.

For those wishing to participate in Shop I will have finishing instructions on Monday November 2nd to finish the quilt.  Quilt will finish out to be 59 1/2 x 68.  Those participating on line I will provide the finishing instructions at a later date.  If you wish to purchase your fabric from the Front Porch Quilts, finishing instructions will be provided at the time of purchase.

Fun quilt, gather your friends, swap blocks or just sew your blocks together each week.

I was born in Wyoming but lived most of my life in the Pacific Northwest. Currently I live in the picturesque town of Buckley located in the foothills of Mt. Rainier. I am the proud mother and grandmother of two boys and 3 wonderful grandchildren. Sewing has always been my passion. But not until I met my friend Pam did I get the quilting bug. I had taken classes but never really got into it until my friend started taking me to quilt shops and seeing all the beautiful quilts she was making, I was hooked!!
