Welcome to Front Porch Quilts established in 2009. Located in the Foothills of Mt. Rainier. Our town mantra is “Below the Snow and Above the Clouds.” I am Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I learned to sew in 4H in the 3rd grade and have had a passion for sewing ever since. I mainly did garment sewing for many years and then one day decided to try my hand at making a quilt. I since have gave up garment sewing and strictly focus on my passion, quilting. I hope to inspire everyone who enters my shop. Whether it be quilting, garment or craft sewing. I truly believe sewing soothes the soul.

I purchased fabrics last month for the Legacy Mystery Quilt. I won’t be able to attend the classes/meetings in the shop, but understood you would send me each month’s directions. Just wondering when to expect installment 1. Thanks Jeanne Harmon

The Mystery quilt is on the 3rd Thursday of each month for 8 months. After the 3rd Thursday is when I mail out that months installment. You should have received month 1 by now, if not please contact the shop at 360-761-7185. Also if at any time you are confused by the instructions please call or come in for help, please don’t assume anything that’s usually how mistakes are made on the mystery quilt.
